By Andy Chilton

" I strongly recommend any aspiring footballer to not give up & go & play for Stratford who will aid their progression into full-time football" Albi

The Town powerhouse has been transferred to Yeovil for an undisclosed fee

Commenting on his move to the Somerset National league side Albi heaped praise upon our club and specifically the support he has received from Jed McCrory.

"I’m so happy to be signing for Yeovil town, it’s been a dream of mine and for it to actually happen just shows that hard work pays off . I want to thank Stratford town for giving me the platform to showcase and express myself whilst playing for them. I want to thank Jed McCrory for always believing in me from a kid and standing by me and advising me to get to this level to Paul Davies and Steve Walker for improving me as a player.

I would also like to strongly recommend any aspiring footballer to not give up and go and play for Stratford town FC who will aid the progression into full-time football as the board and management team have fully supported myself and my family , with Jed at the club every aspiring player will always have a chance of improving and moving on to a full-time club I cannot put into words what he has done to support me and other players.

I want to thank my family and friends who have supported me during this journey, now it’s my time to repay the favour to them by having an amazing season and get Yeovil back to league football where they belong. "

The board wishes Albi all the best and offer our congratulations to him and his family on his transfer to Yeovil Town and we would also like to thank Yeovil for their professional approach in the handling of this transfer.

Albi will make his debut for the Glovers at Yeovil today against us in our pre season game plus Yeovil will be coming to Stratford for pre season friendlies over the next couple of seasons as part of the deal.
