Rod was philosophical over Saturdays draw, on Tuesday night.Rod Brown

‘No I didn’t see us coming back from 3-1 with half an hour to go to be honest but by introducing a third forward and playing Smudger (Mark Smith) in the hole we found some room to play and given another 5 minutes we might have won the game’

He continued, ‘I was disappointed in the way we played on Saturday and particularly in the manor that we gave away goals from set plays. But I was equally as disappointed that tonight’s game was postponed because I really fancied our chances.

In answer as to whether he was now happy with the squad, Rod confirmed that he would be putting in 7 days (notice of approach) for a different type of midfield player this week.
