Town play Bromsgrove on 3G if white-out continues

With a good 3 to 4inches of snow still lying on the pitch at the DCS Stadium, Rod Brown has now firmed up his contingency plans for a friendly on Saturday.

Board room snow

If the pitch at the DCS Stadium isn’t fit for Saturday and Bromsgrove’s game at Barton Rovers (Bedfordshire) is postponed, Rod Brown will entertain John Snape and Bromsgrove Rovers on the 3G all weather service. ‘Snapper’ was Assistant Manager under a previous regime at Town and he will return with a Bromsgrove side for a friendly that kicks off at 2.00pm.

Spectators are very welcome as Groundstaff plan to clear the mountains of snow that are currently lying around the perimeter of the 3G facility on Friday.

Town also plan to have the canteen open to keep everyone warm.
